To remotely access the Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) feature from a Linux desktop, you will need to use the Intel AMT KVM Client. This is a software tool that allows you to remotely connect to and control the KVM feature on a remote Intel AMT-enabled system.

Here are the steps to access the Intel AMT KVM from a Linux desktop:

  1. Download and install the Intel AMT KVM Client for Linux from the Intel website.
  2. Open a terminal window and run the command amtkvm-launcher to launch the Intel AMT KVM Client.
  3. In the Intel AMT KVM Client, enter the IP address or hostname of the remote Intel AMT-enabled system that you want to connect to.
  4. Enter the username and password for the remote system, and then click "Connect".
  5. The Intel AMT KVM Client will establish a remote connection to the KVM feature on the remote system, allowing you to view and control the system's keyboard, video, and mouse.
  6. To disconnect from the remote system, click the "Disconnect" button in the Intel AMT KVM Client.
rnIt's important to note that in order to use the Intel AMT KVM feature, the remote system must have Intel AMT enabled and configured. Also, it's recommend to check the firewall settings on both host and client systems and ensure that the necessary ports are open to establish a connection.
