About this valuation tool
last updated 17 Oct 2026
This tool estimates what a website is worth from signals that are measurable today. Every number on a valuation page names both its source and its collection date.
Why the numbers changed
Most website valuation tools still rest on data feeds that no longer exist. Alexa closed in May 2022. Google retired public PageRank in 2016. The DMOZ directory shut in 2017. Facebook removed public share counts. ICANN sunset the WHOIS protocol for generic domains on 28 January 2025.
A valuation built on those feeds returns the same figure for almost every site, because almost every input is zero. We replaced all of them.
What we measure instead
- Traffic and popularity — how much of the web's attention the domain gets, measured daily.
- Page experience — Core Web Vitals as real visitors experience them, not a lab simulation.
- Domain history — when the domain was registered and how far ahead it is paid up.
- Link authority — how many independent sites reference this one, and how strong they are.
- Safety — whether Google Safe Browsing currently flags the domain.
- Delivery and content — HTTPS, hosting region, response time, title and description.
We tell you what we could not read
If a signal could not be collected for a domain, the valuation page says so rather than silently treating the gap as a zero. Every report shows how many of the factors we actually read, and we publish a range rather than a single number, because a valuation is an estimate.
