Debian 7 Wheezy: Install Flash Player

Adobe Flash Player is not included in Debian 7 Wheezy by default, but you can install it manually. Here’s how:

  1. Download the latest version of the Flash Player plugin for Linux from the Adobe website: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

  2. Extract the downloaded archive and navigate to the extracted folder in the terminal.

  3. Install the package using the following command:

sudo dpkg -i install_flash_player_11_linux.x86_64.deb

Replace “install_flash_player_11_linux.x86_64.deb” with the actual name of the downloaded package.

  1. If the installation encounters any dependency issues, run the following command to resolve them:

sudo apt-get -f install

After the installation is complete, restart your web browser and verify that the Flash Player plugin is installed and working correctly.
