To  install networked HP printer and scanner on Ubuntu Linux

  1. Install the HPLIP (HP Linux Imaging and Printing) package:
sudo apt-get install hplip
  1. Run the HPLIP tool to detect the printer and scanner connected to your network:
hp-setup
  1. Follow the prompts to select the printer or scanner you want to install and configure it with the appropriate options.
  2. After the installation is complete, you can use the printer or scanner by running the appropriate commands such as “hp-print” or “hp-scan”
  3. You can also use the printer from applications such as LibreOffice Writer or GIMP by going to the “File” menu and selecting “Print” or “Scan”
