You can use the following commands to find out what compilers are installed or available on a Linux system:<\/p>\n

    gcc -v<\/code>: This will display information about the version of the GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) compiler that is installed, if any.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    whereis cc<\/code>: This will show the location of the cc<\/code> compiler, which is usually a symlink to the default system compiler, such as GCC.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    which cc<\/code>: This will show the full path of the cc<\/code> compiler if it is in the PATH environment variable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    ls \/usr\/bin\/ | grep cc<\/code> or ls \/usr\/bin\/ | grep gcc<\/code>: This will list all files in the \/usr\/bin\/<\/code> directory and search for the cc<\/code> or gcc<\/code> compiler.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
