The “WARNING: Duplicate VG name server1 LVM2” error occurs when you have multiple Logical Volume Manager (LVM) volume groups with the same name on your Linux system.<\/p>\n

To resolve this error, you will need to remove the duplicate volume group. Here’s how:<\/p>\n

  1. Run the vgs<\/code> command to list all of the volume groups on your system.<\/li>\n
  2. Identify the duplicate volume group by its name (in this case, server1<\/code>).<\/li>\n
  3. Run the following command to remove the duplicate volume group:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
