Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (RHEL 8) comes with Python 3 installed by default. However, if you need to install a specific version of Python 2, you can use the yum<\/code> package manager to do so.<\/p>\n

To install Python 2.7 using yum<\/code>, you can use the following command:<\/p>\n

sudo yum install python2
\n<\/code><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This command will install the latest version of Python 2 available in the default package repositories.<\/p>\n

If you want to install a specific version of Python 2, you can use the following command:<\/p>\n
